Stollen is a traditional German Christmas bread bought weeks before Christmas and left to mature till Christmas morning. We love these little tales that make something as simple as bread such a novelty.
This year we’ve made our version of the Christ Stollen with rum soaked fruits and nuts for 3 months and a house made marzipan centre. It is soaked in butter and dusted with icing sugar so you can enjoy it a little longer.
